What Is Be an Anomaly or Guard?

Be an Anomaly or Guard is a Roblox horror experience developed by icce where players are split each round into facility Guards and supernatural Anomalies drawn from creepypasta and SCP-inspired fiction. Guards stock up on weapons, tools, and credits between rounds while Anomalies use unique abilities to pick off isolated targets.

Matches play out across Backrooms-style maps with tight corridors, dark wings, and sudden breach points. Success as a Guard means communication, choke-point holds, and knowing when to spend credits. Success as an Anomaly means map reads, ability timing, and punishing teams that break formation.

This wiki is maintained by fans and is not affiliated with icce or Roblox Corporation. We cite gameplay observations, public lobbies, and patch notes so you can trust what you read before jumping into matchmaking.

Eight Anomalies, One Asymmetric Loop

The current roster includes Smile Room, The Boiled One, Ao Oni, SCP-173, The Locust, SCP-682, SCP-999, and GUILT. Each anomaly ships with a distinct role label — burst pursuit, blink assassin, swarm denial, psychological debuff, and more — so no two rounds feel identical even when the map repeats.

Guards face a gear progression loop: earn credits and XP, unlock weapons, optionally buy gamepasses like Golden Minigun or +1 Equipped Tools, and experiment with loadouts documented on our Guards hub. Anomaly selection is RNG-weighted unless you invest in the 2X Anomaly Chance pass.

Use our per-anomaly pages for ability breakdowns, counter-strategies, and tier context. New players should start with How to Play, then branch into Guard Survival or Anomaly Mastery depending on which side they prefer.

What You Will Find on This Wiki

We built beananomalyorguard.wiki to answer the questions players actually search: Are there working codes? Which anomaly is strongest after the latest patch? What keys do I press on mobile? Where does SCP-173 lose line-of-sight advantage?

Core pages include an honest Codes tracker (currently no verified active codes), a Controls reference for Roblox defaults plus in-game tips, and a Tier List that ranks all eight anomalies from S through D with disclaimers when balance shifts.

Deeper coverage lives in Guides — becoming an anomaly, beating specific kits, navigating Backrooms layouts — plus Items for gamepass ROI and Credits/XP math. Bookmark the Updates hub after every icce patch so your strategies stay current.
