Each round icce assigns most players as Guards and a minority as Anomalies through random selection. This preserves asymmetric horror — you cannot pick anomaly from a menu without developer-enabled special modes.
When an anomaly dies mid-round, another player may inherit the role depending on current mode rules — watch in-game prompts after patches.

At 250 R$, the pass doubles your selection odds each queue. It does not guarantee anomaly every round — RNG still applies — but hunter mains see noticeably more hunter time over long sessions.
